Brown Thomas CREATE celebrates Ireland’s most exciting and talented designers.

Posting photos of her colourful creations, Bennett's designs gained traction and were eventually picked up by Brown Thomas' CREATE in 2021 - an annual exhibition of up-and-coming Irish designers.

Transforming everyday footwear into small works of art, Barbara Bennett utilises her passion for vibrant prints and a strong love of trainers to create bespoke pieces. Each pair is hand-painted by Barbara using water-based and non-toxic paints to ensure her artistry remains eco-friendly.

barbara has EXHIBITED her last 3 a/w collections in their grafton street store as part of the create project which runs every year from july until september.
